This policy explains what information The Core Group ("we", "us") collects when you visit www.the-core-group.com, use the member portal at my.the-core-group.com, join our trading room, or use our software, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address and password when you register on the member portal.
• Subscription and billing information. Your plan, billing status and payment history. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Connected accounts. If you link Discord, we store your Discord user ID and username so we can grant access to member channels.
• Software licensing information. When you activate licensed indicators or tools, we record license keys and the device or platform identifiers needed to validate the license.
• Communications. Messages you send to support, and information you share during onboarding.
• Website usage. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To provide the trading room, education, software and support you signed up for.
• To validate software licenses and prevent unauthorized use.
• To contact you about onboarding, your account, billing and service changes.
• To improve our website and services.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

YouTube API Services

We use YouTube API Services to manage The Core Group's own YouTube channel, for example to publish and schedule our videos and live streams and to read our channel's analytics. We do not use YouTube API Services to access, collect or store information about viewers or about anyone else's YouTube account.

By watching our content on YouTube you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke any access you have granted to an application through YouTube API Services at Google security settings.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run The Core Group, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Stripe and PayPal, for payment processing.
• Discord and Zoom, for the trading room and member community.
• Google, for website analytics and YouTube.
• Email and hosting providers that deliver our messages and run our systems.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of The Core Group, our members or others.

Cookies

This website uses cookies set by Google Analytics. The member portal uses cookies to keep you signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the portal may not work without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Data retention

We keep account and subscription information while your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can review and update your account information in the member portal. To request a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account, email support@the-core-group.com. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

Children

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and notify members of significant changes by email.
